ORDERING YOUR NEON SIGN
How much does a neon sign cost?
Sketch & Etch's pricing on Neon signs can vary depending on several factors such as the size, complexity of design, and font choice.
On average, a small neon sign can cost around $239 to $500, while larger and more intricate designs can cost $1000+.

Sketch & Etch's Neon's are proudly handmade by our amazing team of signage wizards. We love employing local staff, who have the utmost care and skill when it comes to making your sign! For that reason, we may not always be the cheap neon signs company, but we can hand-on-our-heart say we are the best.

how long will my order take?
Sketch & Etch lovingly handcraft every neon sign to order from scratch, even our Neon shop items.
Depending on our capacity, there are two delivery options; Standard & Express.
Standard Neon sign orders are normally delivered in:
- 3-5 weeks (US & International)
(Please check shipping options at checkout for updated shipping times - subject to change according to capacity)
Please Note: We aim to get all of our standard orders to customers within 5 weeks, however, due to the custom nature of the signs this may not always be gaureteed for reasons out of our control. If you do have an event date you need your sign for, do let us know within 24 hrs. Event if your event falls well out of the 5 week window, we want to prioritize making sure we have this to you in a good amount of time to avoid any potential upsets.
USA Express Neon sign orders:
- If you are in the US and require your sign in under 3 weeks, please email us at hello@sketchandetch.co to discuss the option of a Rush order (Fees apply). Please also let us know the required date you need the sign for, so we can confirm this will work with our production schedule.
Please note: Rush orders are guaranteed to arrive within 10-15 days of proof approval date (can be earlier too!!) so if you have an important deadline rush is the best option! If you require your sign prior to the 2 week deadline, it is essential to notify customer service on hello@sketchandetch.co or via phone so we can verify if we can get your custom neon to you in time. Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to approve any proof promptly, as any amendments to the design will delay production and may result in a longer delivery time.
Delays:
We strive to provide you with the best possible service and deliver your orders in a timely manner. However, on the rare occasion there are certain circumstances that may be out of our control, such as supply chain issues, that may cause unexpected delays in fulfilling your order. If there is a delay in your order due to a supply issue we will do our best to keep you updated right away, However we are unable to cancel your order once your sign has moved into the production stage and has been started by our neon wizards.
Again, we understand a lot of our signs are used at important events. If you do have an event date and have selected the relevant shipping option, email us your event date after purchase at hello@sketchandetch.co so we can be sure to make the production team aware of this date.
i cant create the sign i want on your online neon builder.
If you can’t quite create the custom Neon sign you really want on our online Neon builder, simply send us an email hello@sketchandetch.co or upload your inspiration/idea or logo to our custom Neon contact form.
Our design team can work with you to replicate your design, mix fonts, Neon colors and sizing. All while offering a quote and free Neon mock-up.

my sign was damaged in transit, what do i do?
Sketch & Etch has spent the last 6 years perfecting its Neon sign packaging to ensure your Neon sign will arrive safely to your door!
On the rare occurrence that something has happened to your sign in transit, contact us via email or phone and our team will do their best to guide you through any solutions and images or videos we need.
Please do not dispose of the packaging as we may need this to file a claim with the courier. If the sign can be repaired by our team, we will arrange a return label for your sign so it can be brought back to our warehouse to be looked at by our Neon wizards. Alternatively, we will remake and re-ship the sign if we cannot issue a repair.
something isn't right with my neon sign, what do i do?
If something doesn't seem right with your Neon sign, please feel free to contact us via email or phone and our team will do their best to guide you through any solutions and images or videos we need.Please do not dispose of the packaging in case any fault has occured during transit as we may need this to file a claim with the courier.
Often it may be as simple as missing a step in the setup process and we can fix that remotely with you!
If we cannot provide a solution remotely and your sign requires repairing by our team, then we will arrange a return label for your sign so it can be brought back to our warehouse to be looked at by our Neon wizards. Alternatively, we will remake and re-ship the sign if we cannot make the repair.
my sign has stopped working, what do i do?
On the rare occurrence that your Neon sign has stopped working, please feel free to contact us straight away via our contact form, email or phone and our team will do their best to guide you through any solutions or images/videos we need.
Sometimes a sign not working could be as simple as a replacement part that we can ship out directly to you or it could be something that our team needs to take a closer look at. If your sign is under warranty, and we believe that the signs need to be assessed or repaired by our team, we will arrange a return label for your sign and bring it back to our warehouse to be looked at by our Neon wizards. From there the Neon sign will be repaired or replaced.
INSTALLATION
how do i install my neon sign?
Your Neon sign can be hung in a few different ways. Your sign will come with a hanging kit that includes screws and wall mates. This is for a standard, more permanent installation with the sign screwed into the wall.
If you are looking for a more temporary hanging solution, you can mount your Neon sign with 3M Command strips – Please check the hanging weight restrictions and instructions of command strips before hanging your sign. You may need to weigh your Sketch & Etch Neon sign first.
Alternatively, you can use a strong (strong!) fishing line, a chain or even cable ties for an event or wedding.
how much does a neon sign weigh?
Sketch & Etch’s Neon signs are superlight weight and easy to install. If you can hang a picture frame, you can hang your custom Neon sign!
Most of our signs weigh between 4-18lbs. This is all due to the amount of acrylic used for the backing. Larger signs may weigh more than 18lbs. Always weigh your signs before installing so you can make sure you have the correct weight baring method to hang.
ABOUT OUR NEON SIGNS
is it okay to leave a neon sign on?
Yes, it is fine to keep your Neon sign turned on for extended periods of time. Led lights are used for their efficiency and long-life span (Did you know our LEDs last 50,000+ hours!)
However, as a safety precaution, we do recommend turning the Neon signs off at the wall when no one is present or overnight.
what comes with my neon sign?
The majority of Sketch & Etch’s Neon signs come with a remote & dimmer (excludes some shoppable designs) as well as a power pack.
are they battery operated?
The majority of Sketch and Etch’s Neon signs and wall art, plug into a regular power socket on the wall, using a standard 12v transformer. Some of our small neon signs plug into a USB outlet however this isn’t available for all of our Neons signs.
We can suggest battery pack options, however this is not something we offer as standard as they do not last for long periods of time given the size of most of our signs. This will also need to be purchased by the customer.
From your Neon sign, comes an approx. 6ft transparent cable that connects to plugs into your powerpack – In total you will have approximately 10-13ft of cable to reach the power socket.
